Finally back to blogging my 'bits 'n pieces'. It's been an interesting month of moving and changing, so although I did this workshop two weeks ago, this is as good a time as any! COPICS. Eckersley's in the city held a fantastic morning workshop on the COPIC marker family, paper choices, uses, and presented a variety of media.
The workshop was well presented, with incredible Laura from Cherry Culture Studios... illustrator, inker extraordinaire! Laura presented the markers, and care of Eckersleys, we all received a couple of greys, two liners, and a variety of papers to work with.
I am a big fan of copic blending, but I have to say, it's like anything else, if you don't practice, the first couple (of hundred) times, certainly do look a bit rubbish. Anyway, I've picked up a great deal of tips and paper ideas - Lux Card here I come!
Big practice - BLENDING
