So many challenges, so little time!
November 3 - TOO MANY PUMPKINS by Linda White, Illustrated by Meghan Lloyd
November 2 - THE MUSEUM by Susan Verde, Illustrated by Peter Reynolds
November 1 - HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON by Crockett Johnson
With spending more time trying to finish works in colour, I'm having less time to 'doodle'... on the bright side, my colour is improving, and the down side, I'm sneaking in less and less time to do the quick illo works!
my week - In no particular order
Things are really speeding up towards the end of the year. It's interesting how the last three months have sped by. Crazy really. And I'm not sure I've completed many things I have on my 'to do list'. Oh well! It's all fun anyway… so to the week that was, it being Friday and all..
I thought I'd have a go at producing a vehicle that works as a 'Lazy Susan', while you draw and 'ideate'… perhaps a vehicular table that makes being an artist much more practical!Monday, October 20th - something to let you exercise while drawing
Tuesday, October 21st - Something that holds pencils (not a cup, please… ooh may have blown this one!)
Wednesday, October 22nd - a desk that has a fridge in it or a coffee pot attached or other handy artist items
Friday, October 24th - not a unicycle or a bicycle, invent a new wheeled vehicle
Wednesday, October 29th - invent something that solves a problem - this one is open ended
I'm really looking forward to November prompts on doodleday run by the multi-tasking, muli-talented Alison K Hertz… and look at that, already a few days late!
How time flies!!!
So, what you're looking at above:
Tuesday, October 28th - give a pet a Halloween costume
Thursday, October 30th - invent a Halloween costume for your mailbox
Friday, October 31st - HALLOWEEN - something that will hand out candy to the trick or treaters when you don't have a human to do it.
ANOTHER #INKTOBER DONE AND DUSTED
So, again, as I said last #inktober, I'm going to spend time on finished, and again, I didn't. Time is just not on my side. I do think that November will have to be that for me - perhaps November and December.. finish and colour up a few of these beauties! I'm loving my pirates and parrots at the moment, so I might do that theme first.
This coming month, I'll focus on traditional and digital, because it's update portfolio time, for January 2015... don't blink!
