The next month's challenge is not only to do the challenges, but to get my work 'in living colour', or at least a coherent colour.
I recently had the opportunity to hear Peter Carnavas - illustrator and writer - talk about some of his books at an event, and I was blown away by the 'implied' simplicity of his illustrations. There is nothing simple about his work, and there is an incredibly strong use of form, composition and colour in his work, which I aim to achieve...
