Inspiration comes from everywhere - including people!
Today I read the word of the day for a facebook group I draw with. A couple of weeks ago, one of the main posters and the person who started the group put up an interview about her work as an illustrator, and talked candidly an injury she'd had which left her unable to work with the hand she did everything with....
Anyway, to cut a long story short, she's worked for years rebuilding the use of her arm, and it has been bothering her today.... so instead of not drawing, she worked between the two hands... ok so this kind of blew me away. Where there's a will there's a way, no complaining, just another beautiful post.
So, had a go for the day. Drawing with my left hand (I'm right handed) - it was amazingly difficult and it took me most of the day, on and off and I landed up with a very sore neck?
I've put them in order so you can see how they progressed throughout the day. I often wonder what I'd do if I lost the use of my hand I work with, well I suppose I gave myself the perfect opportunity to find out... thanks again for the forum and the challenges!
