So, after a week of working and producing, added with a little 'trial and error', I managed to get the space at the library filled with the Zneldon family photos... I am going to do more illustrations along the theme of Zneldon travels, and hopefully keep popping the postcards in there whenever I get a chance - the actual exhibition is up for a whole two months, so I'm hoping to mix it up with a few new pieces every now and then...
The Project as a whole
I think there is so much I could have done, but still I feel proud of what I managed to achieve in six days... I had all new work up in three different styles, under the same story line, so I'm pretty ok with that. I loved walking around after setting up and looking at all the exhibits... there is such a beautiful collection of works there it's incredible the talent in Brisbane.
It got me thinking about how much I have to improve, but also how much I have improved. Things take time, talent and tenacity (so I've been told), so persevere and enjoy the journey I say!
The exhibition is on from now until somewhere towards the end of December at the Brisbane City Library, Level 2....
