Logos and Branding - The Story of Good Gourmet
Step 1 - Logo Development
Good Gourmet is a family-run catering business based in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold countryside. Their speciality is home cooked Bistro-style food. The company values include providing a bespoke, high quality and delicious food experience whatever your event may be. Good Gourmet caters for events from 2 - 200, so I wanted to keep with the bistro - style - catering approach and present to their potential clients, a warm, celebratory, personalised style of catering.
3 - 5 versions of potential logos were provided to Jacqui and Jaimie, the Good Gourmet Company Directors. Both voted for the chef's hat logo, with the bistro table cloth. From there I developed 3 variations - full colour on creme, full colour on black and a black and white version for black and white adverts, such as newspapers.
Step 2 - Stationery and Branding
Good Gourmet wanted the business cards to follow the warm, welcoming theme of the logo. Using the striking colours, checker and bold fonts, I continued to explore the brand and push its unique look and feel in the letterheads and business cards.
The Good Gourmet website and app followed, along with social media, and printed media.
